This is the first article in a series of features about local heroes in the Southern California community who are introducing sustainable gardening into the lives of Los Angelenos of all ages. We will explore the most inspiring gardening programs from schoolyards, to community gardens, to rooftops and beyond. To launch this series we are featuring one of our favorite and most inspiring community leaders, Mud Baron, and his very unique and special project #FlowersOnYourHead, a true celebration of gardening and community.
Mud Baron leads the Muir Ranch after school program at John Muir High in Pasadena and has been dubbed by the LA Times to be “an evangelical force in school gardens”; he also has an immense social media following especially on Instagram(@cocoxochitl). He, like many others, has used an instagram growth service to help reach more people and profit from his social media platforms. By doing so, he has been able to slowly and consistently improve the content he is putting out to his followers and also promoting smaller bloggers and influencers in the process. Other Instagram users would have to buy Instagram followers just to have at least a fraction of his following. He utilizes every Instagram tool and engages with his audiences well, so it’s no surprise that so many people follow him and his daily routines. He inspires so many with his unique posts and witty ways. To be just like Mud Baron, you can find out how to boost instagram followers by looking for help online. Yes, there are a lot of growth services to increase your followers. But if you decide to use their service, make sure you read their reviews. Anyways, the food revolution will be Instagrammed, which is where we discovered this wonderful compilation of photos he has been creating for the past several months. To find out what Mud is planning on doing with the photos and to learn more about the man himself, stay tuned for our next feature article. Meanwhile, please enjoy some highlights of his photo project.
